Curled Desrest Horse - Equus ferus torqueo
- Lifestyle and Personality.
The Curled orginate from the african dessert, Hard flat hooves, long manes to cover their bald eyes and noses, and a extremely shiny coat to reflect most of the heat are the proof. Curled also to well in cold areas, but when it gets wet, it gets dangerous.
Strangely enough are curled are unable to eat dry food, and they mostly live from fruits. They will only eat grass when there's no other choice.
Curled aren't actually unicorns, they are 'normal' horses, and in the wild they'd live in small herds. However, real Curled are no longer seen in the wild, but their offspring still carying some typical Curled genes are wide spread over the world.
Curled age much faster then a normal horse, untill they suddenly stop aging entirely. If they don't stop aging on time, they'll die of old age around their 7th year.
These horses naturally imitate whatever they find interesting or beautifull.
Curled have a natural compassion toward humans, making them easy to train. They also poses unusuall intelegence, and are able to comunicate with any creatures using telephatie, you'll only hear these horses when they're are scared or angry. Although they're gentle, they';re also easilly agitated... Curled naturally comunicate using feelings and simple desires, but are capable of learning any languance within several weeks. However, human logic containing non-existent things like numbers and squares can't be understood.
- Movement and use in sport
Their muscle structure is a bit overdeveloped, but basically the same as any other horse.
Curled are very fast horses, and they aren't slowed by soft ground or going uphill. They are exelent climbers, and capeble of very far jumps, but they don't jump high. Curled are flexible, and because of their skill in imitation easilly trained in dressage, but only if you happen to have a horse who líkes it.
Curled can be ridden, but only with great care and specially made sadles, because their ribcage is soo small.
Curled are suitable race horses, and do very wel in the lower classes of cross country. Some can be trained to be great western show horses, but when it come to cattle.. They'll attack anything that hurts them.
- Breeding
Any horse directly related to Skull and normal horses, still showing a the great horn is called a Curled. A horse out of a curled and another unusual breed is a HB Curled (half breed). Purer Curleds are often infertile, while normal curleds and HB's are almost always fertile.
The 'fading genes' refer to stuff that disapears when the bloodline gets weaker. The 'non-fading genes' refer to stuff that is seen even in the weakes bloodlines, but not always is HB's. Hidden Genes only appear through inbreeding.
